HOW TO UPDATE YOUR SAPLOGON.INI FILE

SAP GUI Version 7.20
On Windows 7 and Vista computers:
Unzip saplogon.ini into the following folder
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common
<username> is the primary account name on the computer.
On Windows XP computers:
Unzip saplogon.ini into the following folder
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\SAP\Common
<username> is the primary account name on the computer.
Update Problems? Still see the Old Server List?
Click upper left corner of SAP GUI. Select Options.
On the left side, expand SAP Logon Options
Then click on Configuration Files
On the right side, it shows where it is reading saplogon from (Path of Local Configuration Files)
This is the directory that saplogon.ini should be unzipped into.

 

SAP GUI Version 7.10
On Windows 7 and Vista computers:
Unzip saplogon.ini into the following folder
On 32-bit Systems–> C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui
On 64-bit Systems–> C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui
On Windows XP computers:
Unzip saplogon.ini into the following folder
C:\Windows
